Please. I beg. [02 May 2006|10:22pm]

[ mood | Begging! ]

We have to choose a class song, and I'm going to be one of the guys who ends up playing it. So for my sake for the love of god please vote for TIMES LIKE THESE by FOO FIGHTERS. It's a fun song, up tempo, and has great lyrics that fit in well.

I am a one way motorway
I’m the one that drives away
Then follows you back home
I am a street light shining
I’m a wild light blinding bright
Burning off alone

It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these you give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these time and time again

I am a new day rising
I’m a brand new sky
To hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
Do I stay or run away
And leave it all behind?

It’s times like these you learn to live again
It’s times like these you give and give again
It’s times like these you learn to love again
It’s times like these time and time again

Actually, I dont know about you but I never once did that...

I don't want school tomorrow. Ahh snow day.
Wouldn't that be funny if I jinxed it?
I'd laugh. :P

Hahaha I love how PDA is one of our interests. Mmm yes, that's us... humping in the hallways.

Shitshitshit senior year. Cool beans. I think I'll be that asshole who points out that we have nine more full vacation days left til school starts. Hey guys, we have nine more full vacation days left til school starts. I will also take the liberty of stating that next year at this time we'll all be scattered across the country, and that's weird.

But we'll be hearing enough of that throughout the year, so let's save it.

I think there should be an end-of-summer party. I don't think it should be at my house, but I do think there should be some form of hoedown and/or hootenanny. I don't care who's invited, being that I'm Little Miss Diversity Advocate. Seriously though, let's do it. Start senior year with a hangover bang. :D

Senior year [12 Aug 2005|11:21pm]

Hey guys, it's Ross. Just trying get the word out to all NHS members that teachers need help around the school, mainly the department heads such as Mr. Andreoni and Mrs. Colace. All work will go towards NHS service hours. Spread the word around if you can. And I just want to get some opinions on a question: How does a NHS run homecoming dance sound? Traditionally our school has never had one, but I think it could be a cool thing to run. Give me your input if you like.

AP French Reading List? [20 Jul 2005|07:53pm]

Hey guys,
How's everyone's summer going? I hope all is good. :)

To those people taking AP French this year - - -

You know the reading list we had? The one on the back of that paper that was entirely in french? If anybody has it and doesn't mind typing out the books onto here.. that would be awesome. I lost it and ..yeah. I have no idea. haha.

See ya guys in September

Prom? [12 Jan 2005|03:39pm]

[ mood | thoughtful ]

I'm not really keen on school dances.

But is the prom going to be like last year, when they forbade same-sex dates from going?

Because if it is, I feel like I want to be kind of an asshole and insist on taking a girl anyway, if Kenny can get a guy to be his "date". Just because that option should be available, traditional or not.

So should going without a date, actually.

I dunno. What do you guys think?

[03 Oct 2004|07:32pm]

kaituhlynne wanted someone to post this, so I volunteered to be someone:

I'm your class's Election Advisor/ Supervisor thing for the Mock Election my Current Events class is running.

You guys have the lowest rate of registered voters. Only 60% of you guys have registered.

Im trying to spread the word, but make sure you guys do, too!!

If you need to register and you cant find people at lunch dont be shy! Come find one of the following people, they will have registration sheets:

Me (KT... the short girl who has a mohawk that closely resembles that of Billy Idol... or so people tell me.)
Shaun Rooney (Hot lead singer of Halted Progress- the Freshman class Advisor)
Ben Comeau (Big kid, played the king in Alice In Wonderland, Juliet's brother- Advisor to the Sophomores)
Tom Maffeo (The red-headed volleyball player's brother- Senior Advisor)

Or just ask a senior if they can point you in the direction of one of us (or anyone in our class for that matter).

Maybe someone should post this as a new post so everyone sees it.

Anywho... Au revior,

Posting, procrastinating, and promoting [03 Oct 2004|05:29pm]

[ mood | bored ]

Huh. Nobody's posted in a while, not even Dave with his valiant efforts to keep the place alive.

I guess it's because we're back in school and have decided to talk to each other, you know, the old-fashioned way, with verbal expressions and things like that.

I actually don't have anything special to say. I'm just procrastinating.

If you're procrastinating too, go join my community, glorious_mess, and/or Lauren Gimenez's community, dazzling_mess.

I don't actually like rating communities, she confessed. It was somewhat of an accident that I came into ownership of mine. :D But it's fun, sort of, as long as everyone's chill about it.

Then there's always medway_writers, which y'all should go check out even if you're not much of a writer.

Kay. Done spamming. See you guys tomorrow.

Hello [18 Aug 2004|01:49am]
[ mood | content ]

Hey everyone, it's Matt Landi.

How's everyone doing? Sucks I couldn't come out this summer and see everyone again, but I'll see everyone over thanksgiving or christmas. I miss you guys, Wisconsin sucks :(

Well, it's just about 2 a.m. here and I'm bored as hell, so I decided that I was gonna come on here and talk to you all. I know I do not belong to MHS 2006, but I like talking to you all, it's good to see familiar things in a strange place, and thats what Wisconsin is, a strange place. Everyone out here loves the Packers, cheese, and hunting. One thing I like about it though is that it's beautiful in the summer time. A LOT more open then Massachusetts, and a lot more wooded areas and animals. In fact, I have a family of deer living in my back yard (in the woods somewhere) and they pop out every once in a while to pick at my dad's garden. That's one good thing about Wisconsin, but there isn't much else. There are 3 schools in my town, and I happen to go to the one where all the rich, preppy kids live. :sigh:, it's not the best group of kids to hang with, but good thing they aren't all like this. I haven't made very many friends, but the ones I have made are pretty cool. They aren't preppy and snobby like all the Abercrombie-wearing guys/girls are. I know I shouldn't stereotype all the people at my school, but everywhere I look I see these things and hear these things, but maybe it will be different this year, who knows? Also, I tried playing football this year, I went to practices/weight-lifting and I realized it wasn't my thing, as much as I like bashing the hell out of other people (just kidding..). I'll stick with soccer.

I start school (unofficially) August 20th, due to AP US History. It's only a 5-day 3-hour long class, but AP SUCKS! So much work, and I have yet to finish my summer project that's due this Friday, but luckily I will be in Minnesota all weekend so I will be able to finish it there. I officially start school on September 1st. Damn, summer is so short if you just waste your days away like I did, but that's the great thing about not having to worry about work or school or anything. And, a plus to taking AP is that I won't have to pay for my insurance, gas, or anything if I get straight A's and take AP, so I guess it won't be so bad, I can focus more on playing club soccer and not have to worry about work (I plan on getting a job, but not now, I am going ot be too busy with my damn school work).

Well, I think I've said enough, and I'm tired anyways so I'm going to bed. Nice to hear from everyone again, I will visit ASAP! Have fun Medway, and I hope you enjoy your new high school!

'film festival' [15 Aug 2004|11:48pm]

Hey everyone, this is Brian Goodwin - as you could probably figure out by reading the user name.

You may have heard about this already, but me (and a couple of others) have been talking about how cool it would be to put on a 'movie festival' this year at school (and, by movie, I mean anything from a short-film to the video you recorded in 5th grade of yourself dancing around to "hit me baby one more time" for half an hour.)

(If you actually submit a video of yourself dancing to "Hit Me Baby One More Time" for more than 3 minutes, you deserve death.)

(A very painful death, preferably with bears and rabid geese.)

... Anyway, I was thinking we could have teachers and students judge, and whoever 'wins' can get some sort of prize. If we charge money for movie submissions, and money at the door to the festival, we could end up making a pretty big profit - something that the school could probably use.

I don't know exactly how we'd go about showing the films - I'm really not very smart - but I'm sure I could talk to someone intelligent and figure out how it works. If we put the show on later in the year, we'd have more time for everyone to make their movies and to work out all the technological details.

If you're interested in this idea, especially if you want to make a film or know someone who might want to, leave a comment to this entry.

Hey every one! [15 Aug 2004|04:42pm]
[ mood | happy ]

Hey every one! It's Mark. How's every one's summer going now that it's starting to come to a close? Mine's been great, I just got back from Hershey today, it was a great time. I can't talk though cuz I lost my voice on all the roller coaster rides. Advice to all of you, if you go down, pace yourself on the amount of chocolate that you consume. Your stomach will appreciate it. But yeah, I went to Hershey Park and CHOCOLATE WORLD!! They had 5 POUND hershey bars there for 30 bucks, I wanted to buy one soooooooo bad. O yeah, and I got one of those bus tours, that was a good time. Our tour guide Wilber was the man! But yeah, I never knew Milton Hershey was such an amazing guy. For instance, his wife wasn't capable of having kids so he started up his own school for orphaned boys. And, when they graduated, he'd give them a 100 dollar bill (this was way back like 100 years ago, I wouldn't mind a 100 dollar bill now :p). But yeah, I had a great time, and I hope all of your summers have been great too.

While I'm posting this, I might as well ask you guys if you have any preferences for the upcoming year, other than the stuff that we already talked about. I think this year's going to be awesome, and we all need to enjoy it and try not to worry about all the stressful parts. So, comment me on this and let me know what you guys want to happen this year, thanks...
